The porcelain we lay outdoors is a textured, slip-rated grade made for patios, not the smooth indoor type. It stays grippy in the wet.
No. Porcelain is colour-stable and non-porous, so it does not fade in the sun or stain from wine, oil or leaves the way natural stone can.
The slabs cost more and they must go on a full mortar bed, not spot-fixed, or they crack. The extra care in the base is exactly why it lasts.
Grey, beige, stone, charcoal and timber-effect, in large-format slabs. We bring samples to the site visit so you can see them against the house and garden.
Porcelain itself does not need sealing, but we seal the joints for a clean, weed-free finish. We will talk you through it.
