The project
A rear garden in Stillorgan rebuilt around a large-format porcelain patio, with gravel borders and fresh planting.
The old surface was cleared and the ground graded to a firm base, then large-format porcelain was laid on a full bound bed to a clean, level finish. Gravel borders and new planting soften the edges and tie the patio into the garden.

How we did it.

Cleared and prepared
The old surface was lifted and the ground dug out and graded to a firm, level base, with the falls set to carry water clear of the house.
02
Porcelain laid on a bound bed
Large-format porcelain was laid on a full bound bed to tight, even joints, checked off a level as it went down.
