The stone we use for driveways has a textured or riven finish that stays grippy underfoot and under tyres. Driveway porcelain is a slip-rated grade, not the smooth indoor type.
For the front of a period or high-end home, yes. Natural stone lasts a lifetime and lifts the look and value of the whole house. We will give you an honest steer at the site visit.
Granite is the hardest and most traditional, limestone gives a softer natural tone, and porcelain is man-made, colour-stable and very low maintenance. We bring samples so you can compare.
Sealed granite and limestone resist most staining, and porcelain barely stains at all. We advise on sealing as part of the job.
Stone is slower to lay than tarmac, so allow a little longer. You get a clear timeline with your written quotation.
