New Lawn, Slate Patio & Clay Pavers
A large rear garden in Dún Laoghaire rebuilt from bare soil: a slate patio at the garden room, antique clay pavers and a new striped lawn.
One of our bigger garden builds. The whole space was stripped and graded, then rebuilt in layers: a slate patio off the garden room, antique clay pavers laid in a checkerboard along the side passage, and a new lawn rolled out to finish it.
The transformation.
The garden was taken right back to clean soil, with the old surfaces broken out and cleared. Drag the slider to see the change.
How we did it.
Back to clean soil
The old garden was stripped out and the ground graded, ready to rebuild from a clean base.

Slate and antique clay
The slate patio went down at the garden room, and antique clay pavers were laid in a checkerboard along the side passage.

Lawn rolled out
With the hard landscaping set, the new lawn went down in rolls over prepared ground, edged tight to the paving.

The finished job.
